BJP’s media meet in Baramulla showcases remarkable achievements under PM leadership

Baramulla, Jun 7: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organized a media meet in Baramulla, spearheaded by social media Prabhari & BJP Spokesperson Abhijeet Jasrotia.
The objective of organizing this media meet was to highlight the splendid work of the Narendra Modi government during the past 9 years and reach the masses through different modes of communication.
The event witnessed the esteemed presence of Er. Ghulam Ali Khatana, Member of Parliament, and Dr. Darakhshan Andrabi, Chairperson, J&K Waqf Board, along with former MLC Surinder Ambardar, District President Baramulla GM Sofi and spokesperson GM Mir with other party leaders.
With over 70 media professionals from Baramulla, Kupwara, Bandipora and Budgam actively participating, the media meet provided a platform to address challenges and grievances.
During the meet, Media persons passionately expressed their demands, including the establishment of a press club in North Kashmir, implementation of a comprehensive Media Policy, and insurance coverage for media personnel. In a testament to their commitment, MP Ghulam Ali Khatana attentively acknowledged each grievance and assured prompt redressal, resonating with the aspirations of the local communities.
Khatana, while interacting, highlighted the important achievements of Narendra Modi government that have led to the improvement of socio-economic status of the needy. He talked of improved connectivity of Kashmir with the rest of India, specifically praising the widening of National Highways linking Kashmir to Jammu and Ladakh. He emphasized the ongoing construction of fully advanced and state-of-the-art tunnels along the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway and the Srinagar-Ladakh National Highway. These tunnels will not only reduce travel time but also ensure all-weather road connectivity.
Khatana expressed confidence that Ladakh, once the Zojila tunnel is completed, will no longer face months of isolation during harsh winters and hailed Modi government for gifting “All Weather Connectivity” to the region.
Dr. Darakhshan Andrabi praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his remarkable efforts towards inclusive development under the banner of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikaas.” She highlighted the achievements in fields of road, rail and air connectivity, healthcare infrastructure, education, socio-economic upliftment of women and welfare of the poor and downtrodden.
Andrabi also presented remarkable reformations in bringing transparency and accountability in the management of Waqf Board. She expressed hope that the Board will prove to be of great help to the people.
Abhijeet Singh Jasrotia, in his address, underscored the remarkable achievements of the BJP under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He highlighted significant strides made in the medical, administration, and technical education sectors, exemplified by the establishment of prestigious institutions like AIIMS, IIT, and IIM. Jasrotia also emphasized the successful fall in terrorism and stone-pelting incidents in Kashmir, crediting the persistent efforts of the government.
Jasrotia further commended the Union Government for selecting Srinagar as the venue for the prestigious G20 event, displaying the city’s potential and highlighting the government’s commitment to transforming Jammu and Kashmir into a vibrant hub of global engagement. He also lauded the substantial improvements in the government service sector, emphasizing the culture of accountability instilled in government offices.
BJP leader Mudasir Wani expressed gratitude to the esteemed BJP dignitaries and media persons for their participation in the meeting.
