Kupwara, Jun 19: Government on Monday issued suspension order for Zonal Education Officer in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
Principal Secretary to the Government, School Education Department in this regard issued a formal order.
As per the order the suspended Incharge ZEO Trehgam shall remain attached with the Directorate of School Education, Kashmir till his suspension if at all, is revoked.
“Pending enquiry into his conduct, Manzoor Ahmad Bhat, I/c Zonal Education Officer, Trehgam Kupwara is hereby placed under suspension with immediate effect in pursuance of Rule 31 of Jammu and Kashmir Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1956”, reads an order.
“During the period of his suspension, Manzoor Ahmad Bhat shall remain attached with the Directorate of School Education, Kashmir”, reads the order.
“Further, Muhammad Rouf Rehman, Joint Director (Central) in the Directorate of School Education Kashmir shall conduct an enquiry in the matter and submit a report along with his recommendations within one month.” [KNT]
