Statehood won’t return through Jantar Mantar protest: Darakhshan

Srinagar, Jul 11: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National General Secretary Tarun Chugh Tuesday said that Article 370 was an “eclipse” for the development of J&K.
“Article 370 was an eclipse for the overall development of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, but it was nullified by Prime Minister Narendra Modi led BJP government on August 05, 2019 that paved way to J&K youth to see peace, prosperity and developmental era,” Chugh said.
He said due to abrogation of Article 370, the youth of J&K who were stuck in uncertain situation for decades have started to earn their livelihood in a dignified manner.
“The PM Narendra Modi brought peace and prosperity in whole J&K and turned the UT into the hub of tourism activities,” Chugh said.
While hitting out at NC, PDP and Congress, the BJP senior leader said the dynastic political parties are day dreaming like Mungeri Lal. “Abdullah, Mufti and Ghandi families ruined J&K in their rule and left youth unemployed. These politicians are day dreaming about return of Article 370, which however never to happen,” he added. (KNS)
