Police solve burglary case in Baramulla, accused held

Srinagar, Jul 20: Police in Baramulla have solved a burglary case by arresting an accused person involved in the commission of crime.
On 15/07/2023, Police Station Pattan received a complaint from one person namely Farooq Ahmad Bhat son of Ab Jabbar Bhat resident of Wailoo Pattan stating therein that some unknown burglars barged his Kiryana shop situated at Wailoo Pattan during Friday prayers and have stolen Edible oil & other Kiryana items.
Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 232/2023 was registered at Police Station Pattan and investigation was initiated.
During the course of investigation, officers with the help of technical and human resources, zeroed in on one suspect namely Sajad Ahmad Bhat son of Mohd Ramzan Bhat resident of Wailoo Pattan. After thorough questioning, he confessed his involvement in the commission of crime.
On his disclosure, all the stolen property including edible oil and Kiryana items were recovered from his possession.
