Rajouri, Aug 5: The road repairing work from Manjakote ZEO Office to Naar has commenced Saturday. The inauguration was done by former minister, Shabir Ahmed Khan. This long-awaited project has brought immense joy to the public, as it promises to improve connectivity and alleviate transportation challenges in the area.
“The road, which had been in dire need of repairs, had caused numerous difficulties for the local community. Potholes, cracks, and uneven surfaces hampered both pedestrian and vehicular movement, making daily commutes a daunting task. However, with the initiation of the road repair work, the hopes and expectations have been reignited, as the long-standing grievance is being addressed, a local said.
Former Minister Shabir Ahmed Khan, graced the inauguration ceremony. Addressing the gathering, he expressed his happiness and pride in being part of this transformative project that will benefit countless individuals in the region.
“With the commencement of road repair work, the authorities have demonstrated their commitment to meeting the needs of the people and ensuring their convenience and safety. The ongoing project has sparked renewed hope in the community, establishing a strong foundation for future development initiatives, another local said.
“As the work progresses, it is anticipated that the residents of Manjakote and Naar will embrace the positive changes brought about by enhanced road connectivity, allowing them to thrive and flourish in their daily lives,” he added.
