Srinagar, Aug 28: The government on Monday said the shifting completely to e-offices is a tested way of the administration and will bring transparency in the system. It also said that all the households will be covered in unique digital door number plates with QR codes.
Talking to the reporters, Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, Vijay Kumar Bidhuri, said the directions have been given to the field offices to completely switch to the e-offices shortly.
“Switching completely to e-offices is a tested way of the administration as it has brought respite to the people. All the field offices have been directed to switch to the e-offices completely as it will bring transparency in the system,” Bidhuri said.
He further added that the initiative of pasting unique digital door number plates with QR codes on the houses has been taken up on pilot basis in Srinagar and every household will be covered under the initiative soon.
“The initiative is set to help the people to find the exact location by getting a code. The unique digital door number plates will be pasted on the houses across Jammu & Kashmir soon,” he said.
