Omar, Mehbooba appointed members of oppn alliance’s coordination committee

Srinagar, Sep 1: Jammu & Kashmir’s former chief ministers Omar Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti have been appointed as members of opposition INDIA alliance’s key coordination and election strategy panel.
NC vice-president Omar Abdullah and PDP president Mehbooba Mufti have been appointed as members of the combination’s coordination and election strategy.
The grouping also constituted four committees- Campaigning committee, working group of social media committee, working group of media and working group of research.
According to details, Member Parliament south Kashmir Justice (retd.) Hasnain Masoodi has been made a member of the alliance’s campaigning committee.
Masoodi won 2019 Lok Sabha polls from Anantnag parliamentary committee by defeating Congress candidate Ghulam Ahmad Mir. Mehbooba Mufti of PDP stood at third position in the polls.
NC’s Ifra Jan and PDP president Mehbooba Mufti’s daughter Iltija Mufti have been appointed as members of the alliance’s working group for social media.
According to details, NC’s Tanvir Sadiq and PDP’s Mohit Bhan have found place in the alliance’s Working Group for media
NC spokesman Imran Nabi Dar and PDP’s advocate Aditya have been appointed as Working Group on research.
