Mega Entrepreneurship Conclave at KICC on Sep 16

India’s renowned business gurus to attend

Srinagar, Sep 6: A first of its kind, mega entrepreneurship conclave is going to take place in Srinagar, which will be attended by renowned business pundits of India.
Organised by Launchpad- a collaboration between the valley’s recognized startups – FastBeetle and Kashmir Box, Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Conclave will be held on September, 16 at KICC.
Sheikh Samiuallah CEO of Fastbeetle said that more than 300 entrepreneurs have already registered themselves for participation in the conclave.
“The registration started on August 27 and so far more than 300 entrepreneurs have registered themselves to participate in the conclave. It is going to be a mega entrepreneurship conclave to promote entrepreneurship and economic growth in the region,” he said.
As per the organisers India’s renowned business pundits and top government officials will be attending the conclave.
“Prominent among the business gurus include Ankur Warikoo, founder of Webveda, Rajat Tuli, co-founder of Ustraa, R T Krishnan, director IIM Bengaluru, Bhairavi Jani Chairperson and founder IEF, Executive and Director SCA Group. There will be a good participation from the top government official which include Mahmood Shah Director, Industries & Commerce, Kashmir, Athar Aamir Khan (IAS) Municipal Commissioner Srinagar CEO, Smart City Limited, Saurabh Baghat, Commissioner, Secretary Information & Technology, Aijaz Ahmad Bhat Director, EDI and Vikramjit Singh Commissioner/Secretary Industries & Commerce,” he said.
Samiullah said the main motive for holding the conclave is to boost start-up eco-system in Jammu and Kashmir.
“We are holding this conclave to foster start-up eco-system in Jammu and Kashmir. Our guests who have a wide experience in the field of business will share their experience with our entrepreneurs, which will benefit them at large,” he said.
Samiullah said the start-up owners will also pitch for investment to the business gurus in the conclave.
“We don’t charge any kind of entry fee to the start-ups in the conclave. We have a segment in the conclave during which our entrepreneurs will pitch for investment to the guests,” he said.
The conclave will also feature local success stories, showcasing the entrepreneurial spirit within the region.
