Fast pacing development

There was a time when the people of Jammu & Kashmir were craving for the facilities that are being witnessed in the developed countries and states in India, but since the Union Territory is directly run by the central government, the region is witnessing a major change on the ground in terms of development. From putting an end to the corruption, beautification of markets to extending better facilities to the people, J&K has been witnessing this all, bringing a respite to the people for the want of development here. In one such instance Thursday, the government has finally launched the much-awaited Vistadome train services in Kashmir, which was being witnessed in the developed countries only. The much-awaited train has been specifically designed keeping in view the sub-zero temperatures in Kashmir. The specially designed Vistadome Coach is set to have a profound impact on tourism and contribute to the economic growth and cultural enrichment of the region. It is a big leap by Railways in the development of the Union Territory. The state of the art Vistadome will attract tourists in large number and open up more livelihood generation avenues for the people living in the cities, towns and villages connected to all the railway stations enroute. The developmental projects in Jammu & Kashmir are in full swing, but the government needs to make sure that all such facilities are utilized as per the target so that the economic growth as well as the livelihood generation is achieved, which would help the Union Territory to be at par with the other developed States and Union Territories.
