Keep Kashmir connected

To end the decades-old developmental deficit in Jammu and Kashmir, the administration led by the Lieutenant Governor has devised a strategy to utilize funds in the right direction to ensure ease of living for the residents, which according to the incumbent regime is its top priority. It is a fact that several things have witnessed a change on the ground such as the facelift of roads, proper utilization of funds has been ensured on priority by the present regime. The macadamization of roads was the usual task for the erstwhile regimes, who used to spent hefty amount every year to renovate the roads, but the situation has changed, the government has come up with an alternative, which is set to last long and would not force for the immediate renovation like the past. Besides, the government has taken up the issue of tap water connections across Jammu and Kashmir under the much-hyped Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) scheme and so far, dozens of villages who were not connected till yet, have been connected and the villagers are now getting proper tap water drinking supply every day. It is not the case of roads and water, but several measures taken by the government have proven fruitful and have brought cheer on the faces of the people. The motive of the government to ensure ease of living for the residents across Jammu & Kashmir is being achieved and the administration needs to accelerate the pace to make sure that the developmental deficit in the Union Territory is put to an immediate end.
