Don’t misuse social media platforms

Social media platforms have turned out a major source for many to earn their livelihood, but at the same time, these platforms have ruined the lives of many people as the netizens without thinking of the ramifications, upload any post that even ruins the image of a particular person. Several images and videos have so far gone viral on the social media platforms, which have resultantly turned the life of some individuals into hell. The netizens don’t even think whether the uploading of such content would damage the image of the particular person. In this regard, the Cyber Police Kashmir have from time to time appealed to the people not to misuse the social media platforms as some of the contents have left many individuals to suffer. It is unfortunate to see that the netizens misusing the platforms by uploading the contents that ruin or damage someone’s identity. Everyone is equally being shamed and named in the content while most of the people do support them by giving them the likes and the comments. It is the time when the people should behave maturely as we live in the land of saints. We have the principles of keeping the sins of people hidden and not to expose them before the public. Therefore, everyone should follow these principles especially on the social media platforms so that nobody’s life is ruined in the future and the society is freed from such people who always remain at the forefront to name and shame some individuals.
