Srinagar, Jan 5: Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) Friday organized an event under Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) at Zainakote in Srinagar, marking a significant milestone in bringing impactful events and essential services to the local communities.
The event featured a range of activities, including ‘Meri Kahani Meri Zubani,’ where beneficiaries of government welfare schemes shared their life-changing experiences.
Additionally, free health check-ups, Aadhar card registrations, Ayushman card generation and sign-ups for various government schemes were made available, ensuring easy access to vital services for those in need.
Moreover, the Government of India’s IEC van was on-site to showcase informative short films, highlighting a diverse array of welfare schemes, including the PM Ujjwala Yojana, PM Awas Yojana, PM Svanidhi, and more, aimed at empowering communities and ensuring widespread access to essential government programs.
