Srinagar, Feb 3: A fresh layer of snow covering Srinagar has drawn tourists from different parts of the country who couldn’t resist the charm of the snow-covered landscape.
Amidst the snow scenery, tourists gathered at the iconic Zero Bridge in Srinagar to enjoy the enchanting ambiance created by snow.
Amid laughter and joy, Aman Mishra from Gujarat, said, “I have seen the snowfall for the first time and there is no comparison to it”.
“I cannot explain in words what I have seen and how beautiful it is looking. I am speechless as I am experiencing this beauty for the first time with my eyes,” he added.
Another visitor, Abhishek Kumar from Bihar, said, they are having heavenly feelings as nature here is beautiful.
“Comparing to my own city Bihar, the population here is less and the people here are very much loving. The perception that Kashmir is dangerous is nowhere as it is the most beautiful place on earth. Kashmir is safe, and I can say everyone should visit once here and see its beauty,” he added.
Another visitor from Mumbai said, “I’ve never seen anything quite like this before. It is like stepping into a fairy tale”.
Moreover, businesses and vendors near Zero Bridge reported an increase in activity as tourists indulged in traditional Kashmiri cuisine and hot beverages to keep warm.
One of the tea stall vendors at Zero Bridge said his sales have increased as tourist footfall has increased in the area.
He said that locals are also coming in great numbers to enjoy the snow scenery from the bridge.
