Kulgam, Mar 16: Drug Control Authority Saturday conducted intensive inspection of medical shops in Yaripora and Frisal areas of district Kulgam regarding CCTV installations and computerized billing system.
During inspection, 3 show-cause notices were served regarding non issuance of cash memos and improper storage of medicine requiring cold storage.
Chemists were given real time demonstrations for raising digital invoices and maintaining records of all medicines, especially scheduled formulations.
An awareness camp was also held at Yaripora regarding the computerized billing system and its advantages. Chemists of the area have affirmed to secure compliance for CBS installation.
