Keep Kashmir connected

Jammu and Kashmir in the present era is scripting history in multiple events and proves the hectic efforts of administration on the ground, sending a message to all the corners that the Union territory is witnessing a new dawn of era. A few years ago, the people could hardly imagine that the Formula-4 car race can be organized in Jammu and Kashmir, but the history has been scripted as the administration has made it possible by organizing the event near the world famous water body—Dal Lake where large number of people from different parts of the country participated. Organizing such an event has not only sent a positive message across, but it has also authenticated that the roads here have been developed the way, which suits the commuters in every aspect. The event has given ample proof that the road is pothole-free and also authenticates the government’s developmental process that has been taken up from the last couple of years under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. However, such events should always be organized here in Srinagar and elsewhere in Jammu and Kashmir as it would help in giving a further boost to the tourism sector here. The tourism sector is already witnessing a huge boost since the last two years and now such events can bear more fruits and help strengthen and boost the local economy here as well. Therefore, the concerned department should take up the matter with the higher ups and make sure that such events become a routine exercise, especially in the summer season ahead.
