Billawar, Apr 14: Senior BJP leader Devender Singh Rana Sunday exuded confidence over the NDA crossing 400- seat mark in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, given its strong support base, unprecedented public goodwill under the decisive and visionary leadership of Prime Minister Yashasvi Narendra Modiji.
“This landmark milestone will reduce the Congress all-time low of below 40 seats due to its policy of appeasement and actions inimical to the national interest,” Rana said during door to door public outreach programme in Nagrota Gujroo, Gurha Kalyar and Billawar township along with Sr. BJP Leader, Satish Sharma.
He said the BJP’s track record on governance including initiatives like economic reforms, infrastructure development, social welfare programs, and national security measures during the past one decade across the country in general and Jammu & Kashmir in particular, since 2019 will reward the party alone 370 seats, synchronising with the decisive forward movement of repealing the Article 370. The BJP’s focus on efficiency and accountability has aimed to bring tangible benefits to citizens across various sectors, which is discernible on ground zero in immense measure, he said, adding that the transformative, transparent and accountable governance and commitment to progress of the country, the BJP is all set to gain once again the trust of the people with big numbers.
Rana said the BJP’s vision for a strong, prosperous, and inclusive Bharat resonates deeply with the aspirations of millions of Indians across the country. From vibrant global reputation, robust economic reforms to decisive actions on national security, the BJP’s agenda reflects its unflinching commitment to serve every segment of Indian society as per cherished agenda of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas. This mantra has already galvanized the people, with whose blessings, the nation has ushered in a new age of peace, progress and prosperity for the nation, he added.
Rana reiterated that the BJP is committed to upholding the principles of inclusivity and good governance, saying this will lead to India becoming Vishwa Guru under Prime Minister Modi. Having outshined as fifth economy of the world, Yashasvi Modiji’s third term will make every Indian proud of being the third economy in the next five years and Viksit Bharat by 2047. The comity of nations is watching India’s growth story under Modiji with interest, he added.
Rana said the BJP has been steadfast on delivering the promises and referred to abolition of triple talaq, empowerment of women, economic emancipation of under privileged and inclusive development across the regions, equitable opportunities of progress to all sections of the Indian society. He said all these initiatives have enhanced the global image of the nation and put the country on the path of building a strong and vibrant Bharat.
He reiterated that the BJP has been devoted to the welfare of every citizen, irrespective of religion, caste, creed or region. He said the BJP is dedicated to upholding the values of unity and diversity that forms the bedrock of the unique identity of the nation, he said.
Addressing the meetings, Sr. BJP Leader Satish Sharma said Jammu & Kashmir’s return to stability, development and progress since the transformative changes of August 5, 2019 is reflective of intent and determination of the BJP leadership to bring back the Union Territory on the track of peace that remained eluded for over two and half decades due to politico-separatist nexus.
Sharma said the Congress plus allies led reign of discrimination, misgovernance, corruption and deprivation is now the nightmare of the past with hope of holistic development, thrust on education, health and tourism, accountability in governance, time bound delivery of utility services and vistas of opportunities to all, irrespective of caste, religion and region becoming a reality under the visionary and dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modiji, he maintained.
Making a fervent appeal to the people to come forward on the day of the election and cast their vote in favour of progress, prosperity, and stability, Sharma said “your vote is not just a symbol of your democratic rights, but a powerful instrument for shaping the future of our beloved nation.
