Srinagar, May 27: Security forces on Monday busted a terrorist hideout in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
SSP Kupwara Shobht Saxena said that based on specific input, a joint operation was launched by Army and J&K Police in dense forest area of Awar, Kupwara.
He said during searches a terrorist hideout was busted, and a large cache of arms, ammunition, equipment and other war-like stores have been recovered.
“An investigation into the matter has been initiated,” SSP Kupwara added. (KNS)
