Srinagar, Jun 10: As Eid-ul-Adha approaches, the festive spirit is palpable in Srinagar, with retailers launching exciting offers to attract shoppers. Among the anticipated offers is the “Eid Sale” provided by shopkeepers and retailers to attract people.
According to reports, various shops and stores in Srinagar city have rolled out an array of discounts on a variety of products, with special deals on shoes, kids’ wear, and jeans among others.
With sales ready to draw visitors, shopkeepers are expecting the arrival of visitors. However, as of now, the market has been down, traders said.
“We are thrilled to announce our first Maha Eid Sale, offering unbeatable prices on some of our most popular items,” said a representative from a store that has set up a sale.
“Our aim is to provide our customers with the best shopping experience and value for their money, especially during this joyous occasion,” he added.
Lastly, different stores in Srinagar have set up dedicated sections for different product categories, making it easier for customers to find what they need. From stylish shoes to trendy jeans and adorable kids’ wear, there’s something for everyone as the sale trend hits the valley.
“Every year, we see a surge in sales during Eid, so we are offering our customers the best deals to make the most of this festive season,” said a shopkeeper in Lal Chowk. “We’re expecting a huge rush ahead of Eid, and we want to ensure that our customers have a wonderful shopping experience.”
In the last week ahead of Eid, shoppers usually flock to their favorite shops and those stores offering the best deals.
Deputy Commissioner Srinagar has already directed the authorities to constitute joint market checking teams to ensure availability of good quality of essentials and to curb malpractice of overcharging and overpricing in the market.
