Srinagar, Aug 27: Senior BJP leader Dr. Darakhshan Andrabi Tuesday expressed confidence that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidates will secure victories in the upcoming Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections.
Dr. Andrabi accompanied BJP candidates Mohammad Rafiq Wani from the Anantnag West constituency and Adv. Syed Wazahat from the Anantnag Assembly constituency as they filed their nomination papers in Kashmir.
Speaking to the media Dr. Andrabi said, “The atmosphere was incredible, with a sea of people coming out in support of our leaders as they filed their nomination papers. It is heartening to see that people have placed their faith in the BJP, and I firmly believe that our candidates will win the elections.”
Dr. Andrabi emphasized that the BJP is contesting the elections with a clear agenda of peace and development for Jammu and Kashmir. She stated, “the BJP government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is committed to the development of Jammu and Kashmir and bringing lasting peace to the region. The progress we have made so far is a testament to how serious the BJP is about transforming Jammu and Kashmir.”
With the assembly elections approaching, BJP leaders like Dr. Andrabi are rallying support across the region, highlighting the party’s focus on stability and progress for the Jammu and Kashmir. (KINS)
