Kathua, Sep 14: A tragic accident occurred in the Dhar Dugnu area of Kathua district on Saturday when a minibus skidded off the road, resulting in the death of a 9-year-old boy and injuring 22 others.
Official sources said that after the driver lost control, minibus, (JK08B 9038), rolled down a hillock.
A little boy, Ankesh Kumar, son of Darshan Singh and 22 others suffered injuries. Ankesh died in the hospital while others are being treated at the hospital.
One critically injured person, Sangeeta, has been referred to GMC Jammu for advanced treatment.
Police in this regard have registered a case under relevant sections of law. [KNT]
