Pulwama, Sep 16: District Election Officer (DEO) Pulwama, Dr. Basharat Qayoom conducted late night visit to the Dispatch-cum-Receipt Centres (DCRC) and the counting halls, to oversee and review the final arrangements ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections.
Polling parties are scheduled to be dispatched tomorrow for all four Assembly Constituencies.
To ensure all the arrangements are in place in-line with the guidelines issued by the Election Commission of India, the DEO inspected all essential facilities and procedures for smooth, transparent and efficient election process.
He emphasized adherence to protocol and reinforced the district’s commitment to a free and fair election.
