Srinagar, Sep 21: BJP National Vice President and Chairman of the Hajj Committee of India, Aruvanpalli Puthiyapurayil Abdullahkkutty, termed India as the safest haven for Muslims globally under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Abdullahkkutty proudly proclaimed, “As a Muslim, I say that Modi Ji’s India is the safest place for Muslims in the world”
Abdullahkkutty who is in Kashmir capital Srinagar and was part of BJP candidate’s rally told the news agency Kashmir News Trust that Modi has transformed Kashmir into heaven.
He drew from his experience as Haj Committee Chairman, highlighting the stark contrast between India and Pakistan. “Last year, Pakistani Haj pilgrims were unable to participate due to terrorism, and many face severe restrictions, including accessing mosques in Makkah and Madina,” he claimed.
Abdullahkkutty attributed Kashmir’s transformation to Modi, citing unprecedented development and peace over the past decade.
“Kashmir has witnessed a remarkable surge in tourism, with 8.6 million visitors in just five months, revitalizing Kashmir’s reputation as “heaven on earth,” he said adding that Kashmiri youth are increasingly embracing development and Modi’s vision.
Abdullahkkutty expressed optimism about the BJP’s future in Kashmir. [KNT]
