Rajouri, Oct 21: Mother of former Judge and MLA Muzaffar Iqbal Khan passed away on Monday. The funeral prayers were held at the family residence at 3 PM, in Manjakote, Dehri Dhara, with over 10 thousand individuals gathering to show their support and seek forgiveness for the departed soul.
As the community gathered in mourning, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah also joined the funeral prayer to express solidarity and share in the family’s grief. He prayed for strength and solace, asking for patience and healing in the face of such a profound departure.
As the final prayers were offered and the echoes of grief filled the air, the community stood together in solidarity, offering their condolences and support to the family of the departed.
Meanwhile, Deputy Chief Minister, Surinder Choudhary, has expressed profound grief over the demise of Gulshan Fareed, wife of Aslam Khan, former MLA Rajouri and mother of Muzaffar Iqbal Khan , MLA Thanamandi.
In a message of condolence, the Deputy Chief Minister prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and expressed hope that the family would be able to bear the irreparable loss.
