Speaking during his visit to the mandi, the Dy CM stressed on the government’s commitment to closing developmental gaps and supporting local agricultural businesses.
“This Mandi serves the entire valley, not just north Kashmir. Every individual in the fruit trade plays a vital role in Jammu and Kashmir’s economy,” he stated.
He also mentioned that the government is compiling a list, and no one—be it a government official or any other person creating hurdles in the Mandi’s development—will be spared.
Speaking on the occasion, Agriculture Minister Javid Dar said that the government is committed to serve the people of Sopore and reciprocate the love they gave to them during elections. “Things are not the same. We are a UT today. Let us work together to remove obstacles in the way of Sopore’s development, ” he said
