Keep Kashmir connected

The ruling regime has been facing a tough time in Jammu and Kashmir as the leaders within the party have opted to go against the government for the wellbeing of the student community here in Jammu and Kashmir. Showing solidarity and raising the voices of common masses, especially the students, considered as the future of the nation, is an appreciable move, but one fails to understand when the issue could have been sorted and raised with the concerned authorities in an ease, then why was it necessitated to hit the streets along with the opposition leaders. The million dollar question remains as to why the protest was carried out when the leaders within the party itself knew that the business rules have not been cleared since Jammu and Kashmir has witnessed a maiden elected government after it was downgraded to the Union Territory. The common masses may not have any knowledge in this regard, but a well-known figure, who is aware of the facts, has taken a route to protest outside the Chief Minister’s residence, which could have been avoided by raising the issue directly with the Chief Minister to seek his feedback. Such a way of raising the voices of common masses has indicated that the cracks have developed within the party as the leaders unlike taking the route of protest, could have managed the things easily. But, it would be interesting to see how the government would respond to the actions by the party leaders and will it impact the ruling regime.
