Srinagar, Jan 2: Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari on Thursday stated that the removal of one of the oldest security bunkers in Srinagar city is a welcome step, reflecting an improvement in the security situation.
He emphasised that peace is essential for a brighter future for the youth and future generations of Jammu and Kashmir.
Apni Party President wrote on his X handle, “Glad to know that one of the oldest security bunkers, which stood for over 30 years in the Safa Kadal area of Srinagar city, has been removed. This clearly indicates an improvement in Srinagar’s security situation. Local residents have welcomed the decision.”
He further said, “Small steps like these give hope that J&K is gradually moving toward a peaceful and stable environment, which is essential for a brighter future for our youth and future generations.”(KNS)
