Cadet Aviral from Army Public School, Udhampur, shared similar sentiments: “This flying experience has motivated me to pursue my dream of joining the Armed Forces. I will never forget this unique opportunity.”
Cadets Akshat Gupta from SKUAST Jammu and Bhumika Sharma from SMVDU Katra also expressed their excitement and gratitude for the chance to experience flying for the first time.
Speaking at the event, Wing Commander Nitin Yadav emphasized the importance of the inaugural flight, saying: “This first flight signifies not just a technical achievement but also a new chapter in the NCC’s mission to inspire and challenge the youth of our nation. We are proud to provide opportunities for cadets to explore new horizons and enhance their skills in multi-dimensional domains.”
The successful event is expected to pave the way for more opportunities, further reinforcing the NCC’s role in fostering a sense of adventure and discipline among India’s youth.
As part of its ongoing mission, the NCC aims to expand aviation and adventure training programs, offering cadets hands-on experiences that build confidence, teamwork, and leadership skills.
The 1 J&K Air Squadron NCC, under NCC Group HQ Jammu, is poised to enhance the region’s aviation training capacity, exposing the next generation of young leaders to new opportunities and preparing them to contribute to the nation’s development.
