Srinagar, Apr 6: Senior BJP leader Er. Aijaz Hussain Sunday called on Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs and Minority Affairs, Shri Kiren Rijiju, during his visit to Srinagar.
In the meeting, Er. Aijaz apprised the Hon’ble Minister of the recent visit by the Building Inspection and Selection Team to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, sharing vital updates and observations from the trip. The visit is expected to strengthen bilateral cooperation and enhance the quality of facilities for Indian pilgrims.
Er. Aijaz also briefed the Minister on the ongoing Hajj preparations, noting that arrangements are progressing at full pace to ensure a smooth and comfortable experience for pilgrims from India. He lauded the efforts of the Ministry and concerned departments for their proactive approach and meticulous planning.
Additionally, the leaders held extensive discussions on various welfare schemes aimed at uplifting minority communities in J&K. Er. Aijaz stressed the importance of effective implementation and outreach to ensure that the benefits reach the grassroots level.
