Shopian, May 15: An elderly man from Pulwama was found dead in river Ranbiara at Bohrihalan area of South Kashmir’s Shopian district on Thursday morning.
An official said that locals spotted an unidentified body in Ranbiara following which they informed the local police, who arrived at the spot.
He said that the body was later shifted to a hospital for legal medico formalities. He was later identified as Mohammad Yousuf Ganie from Washbug Pulwama.
Meanwhile, the police have launched an investigation in this regard. (KNO)
