NC calls for thorough investigation into death of Kashmiri youth in Delhi

Srinagar, Jun 5: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference State Spokesperson Imran Nabi Dar Thursday expressed deep concern over the mysterious death of a Kashmiri youth, Zubair Ahmed Bhat, in Delhi.
In a statement released from the party headquarters, Dar urged Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to intervene personally and ensure a fair and transparent investigation into the incident.
He emphasized the need for a thorough and impartial inquiry to ascertain the circumstances surrounding Bhat’s death. “The family of the deceased deserves answers, and it is the responsibility of the authorities to ensure that justice is served,” Imran stated. He expressed hope that the bereaved family would receive the support and closure they need during this difficult time.
The JKNC Spokesperson also highlighted the broader implications of such incidents. “This is not just a personal tragedy for the family but a matter of concern for all of us. We must ensure that such incidents are thoroughly investigated and that those responsible are held accountable,” he added.
