Srinagar, Jul 22: Mission Director, Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM), J&K, Khurshid Ahmad Shah, Tuesday convened a review meeting of Executive Engineers of PHE Divisions of J&K through virtual mode.
The MD enquired about the status of on boarding of various users including Deputy Commissioners, Additional Deputy Commissioners, Executive Engineers, Panchayat Secretaries and Sarpanchs on Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM), Information Management System (IMS) 2.0 Dashboard.
The MD was apprised that most users have adopted the new IMS dashboard of Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) in J&K. He directed the remaining divisions to collaborate with Deputy Commissioners to ensure all districts are onboarded, enabling a robust District Water and Sanitation Mission (DWSM) dashboard that provides easy access to JJM implementation information for the public.
The MD also reviewed the creation of ID’s for Panchayat Secretaries for district online Dashboards under JJM. He was informed that creation of ID’s for Panchayat functionaries is going on. He directed the divisions to expedite the process in coordination with District Information Centre’s (DIC’s) of respective districts for creation of Government E-Mail IDs to panchayat functionaries which is prerequisite for creating Block and Panchayat profiles in the upgraded dashboard.
The Mission Director directed the officers to complete the process in time bound manner which will pave way for a comprehensive Operation and Maintenance (O&M) policy under JJM in the UT of J&K.
