Bank of India: Celebrating 119 years of excellence, resilience

Bank of India has indeed traveled a long way, gaining strength and resilience over the years. As it celebrates its 120th foundation day, BOI stands tall as a great institution, rooted in its rich history and culture. Its leadership and ability to adapt to changing times have enabled it to navigate challenges and emerge stronger. Bank of India has gained strength, braving strong winds of change and now it is going to be 119 years young Bank. BOI is a great Institution as it has been strong historically, culturally and has been a leader all through and has allowed to be challenged. Bank was founded in 1906 as the first bank during the British Raj that catered to the people of India rather than the colonial administration.
Built on principals of prudence and caution and being forward looking, BOI has come out stronger weathering many crisis in the banking as well as other environments and has grown to be the repository of trust among its stakeholders. Bank has built “Relationship Beyond Banking” with its millions of its customers across the globe who are ambassadors of goodwill. BOI is today the preferred choice of customer. Why ? This happens due to delivery of superior products and efficient services and it has acted as good professionals with courtesy and dignity.
BOI has time after time invested its money and its faith in the people of India. Bank of India has been able to discharge its role as one of the leading development banks in the country and has adapted well to changing times and technology on par with other banks. The pioneering role the bank has played in the rural and micro credit areas deserves the highest praise. Preserving, protecting and nurturing trust has been the centerpiece for BOI.
Banking is a service industry driven by the customers and with customer centric approach only, one can lead to success in this industry. Bank of India is a very powerful brand and its huge force has taken responsibility to protect enhance the image of the Bank at all the times.
Bank is also privileged to have not only a good network of branches, but vast majority of loyal customers .Bank’s satisfied customers are the best ambassadors of the Bank. There is no doubt that courtesy builds the relationship with a customer to such strong point that he eventually becomes an advocate for the Bank. Amongst all banks Bank of India remains one of the front runners in the commitment and implementation of financial inclusion initiatives. Bank has been aggressive in financing Govt. Sponsored schemes and achieving all the targets allotted.
Bank’s greatest assets are, undoubtedly, its employees, who have brought it a reputation as tall as its long history of over 119 years. BoI has made a rapid growth over the years and blossomed into a mighty institution with a strong national presence and sizable international operations. In business volume, the Bank occupies a premier position among the nationalised banks.
BOI, in order to remain true to its corporate ideals and to reach the optimum level of customer satisfaction is always been passionate about providing the best banking services to its customers. Bank strives to work hard, win the customer’s confidence and play its role as a knowledgeable and well informed employee. Customer delight at all levels and in all transactions is its goal.
BOI is an organization of great character and depth. Its greatest assets are, undoubtedly, its employees, who have brought it a reputation as tall as its long history of 119 years. Bank is today stronger, bigger, more vibrant and confident. BOI’s legacy is a testament to its unwavering commitment to excellence, customer satisfaction, and nation-building. As a venerable institution, it continues to inspire trust and confidence, shaping the financial landscape of the country.
