Srinagar, Sep 17: Deputy Chief Minister, Surinder Choudhary, along-with Advisor to Chief Minister, Nasir Aslam Wani, convened a meeting to review the progress on the widening of Boulevard Road Project.
The meeting was attended by Vice Chairman LCMA; Chief Engineer, R&B Central Kashmir; Superintending Engineer R&B; Executive Engineers and other senior officers of PWD.
Addressing the officers during the meeting, the Deputy Chief Minister directed the PWD to immediately restart the work on the widening of Boulevard Road, considering its prime importance and vital significance for tourism development. He instructed them to initiate the process on priority and expedite the pace of execution of works.
The Deputy CM directed the concerned executing agency to complete the project in a stipulated time frame while maintaining the quality of works.
The Deputy CM also instructed the Vice Chairman LCMA to facilitate the concerned executing agency for smooth implementation of the project.
During the meeting, Chief Engineer (R&B) presented a detailed report and gave a presentation outlining the current status of the projects.
