Srinagar, Sep 27: In a continued effort to strengthen police-public relations and address public grievances, Senior Superintendent of Police Baramulla Gurinderpal Singh held a public meeting in Uri town, Baramulla.
The event witnessed active participation of citizens from various villages, including representatives of Beopar Mandal Uri, Sumo/Bus Association Uri, and other prominent locals.
During the interaction, participants raised several grievances and issues related to public welfare and policing. SSP Baramulla gave a patient hearing to all concerns and assured their timely redressal. He further underscored the vital role of public cooperation in maintaining peace and harmony, combating the drug menace, addressing social media–related crimes, and strengthening the framework of effective and transparent policing.
The session concluded with a reaffirmation of J&K Police’s commitment to work in close coordination with the community for a safer and better society.
