Div Com chairs meeting of Rakhs & Farms Department

Srinagar, Oct 9: Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Anshul Garg Thursday chaired a meeting of Rakhs & Farms Department to assess its functioning and other related issues.
The meeting was attended by Director Rakhs and Farms, Assistant Commissioner Central, General Manager Govt Press, Assistant Director Rakhs & Farms, OSD to Div Com, Deputy Director Archives, Archeology & Museums and officers from revenue department.
Addressing the meeting, Div Com enjoined the officers of the department to compile the details of quantum of land under its possession, revenue records of Rakhs & Farms, rules and orders issued from time to time governing the department and the processes followed by the department for utilization and supervision of land besides legal orders, acquisition rules and encroachment issues.
He also directed constitution of the committe to address the issues confronted by the department.
