Srinagar, Oct 21: As part of the observance of Police Commemoration Day, Police organised Blood Donation Camps with the aim of honouring the supreme sacrifices of Police Martyrs by serving a noble cause-saving lives.
In Anantnag, a blood donation camp was organised at District Police Lines Anantnag. The event witnessed active participation from all ranks of the district police, reflecting their solidarity and commitment to the legacy of their fallen comrades. DIG SKR Anantnag and SSP Anantnag donated blood along with a large number of officers and officials of District Police Anantnag.
In Ganderbal, Police organized blood donation camp at Sports Stadium near SSP Office Ganderbal. The event was inaugurated by SSP Ganderbal Khalil Ahmad Poswal, who highlighted that donating blood is one of the most meaningful ways to pay homage to the brave martyrs who laid down their lives in the line of duty. He appreciated the enthusiasm and participation of police personnel, officers, and volunteers who came forward to contribute to the cause. During the camp, SSP Ganderbal Khalil Ahmad Poswal donated the blood including a large number of officers, Jawans from District Police, CAPF’s, as well as civilians, ensuring proper medical supervision and safety.
These events concluded with a note of gratitude from senior officers, who thanked all donors, medical staff, and volunteers for their active participation in the blood donation camp.
