Jammu, Nov 18: BJP Jammu and Kashmir President and Rajya Sabha MP Sat Sharma on Tuesday called for enhanced grassroots mobilisation and stronger public engagement during a series of organisational meetings held at the party headquarters in Jammu. He said the party’s core strength lies in its disciplined cadre and continuous outreach to people across all districts.
Sharma stressed that senior leaders must ensure dedicated visits to every mandal and booth area, describing these interactions as essential for reinforcing the organisational structure at the local level. He told party workers that consistent ground presence and personal contact are necessary to address public concerns effectively.
He urged MLAs and district leaders to adopt a more proactive and accessible approach, saying deeper relations with people will strengthen trust and help the party identify issues that require attention. Sharma directed district units to intensify field activities and ensure that all programmes reach every household and the last worker in the organisational chain.
The BJP leader cautioned workers against allowing any divisive or disruptive forces to hinder Jammu and Kashmir’s progress. He said the party remains committed to the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which he described as focused on a stable, prosperous and united Jammu and Kashmir.
Sharma added that sustained efforts at the grassroots are crucial for strengthening the party’s connect with the public and ensuring effective implementation of developmental initiatives. [KNT]
