The delegation requested the Minister’s intervention to ensure smoother, transparent and industry-friendly transport regulations.

Another deputation of Kerosene Dealers Association highlighted challenges in the FCS&CA supply chain, including irregular and insufficient kerosene allocations and need for transparent distribution mechanisms. They requested a streamlined policy support to ensure uninterrupted public supply.
Deputation of Mini Bus Operators Association raised issues regarding Traffic regulation issues and lack of designated stops and need for rationalisation of routes to prevent overcrowding on certain corridors, financial stress due to rising operational costs, expedited clearance of pending subsidy and assistance cases.
They urged the Minister to implement reforms that would ensure the viability and sustainability of small transport operators.

Satish Sharma directed the concerned officers to look into the issues and concerns raised by the deputations for speedy redress. He assured time bound action on genuine demands, department-wise review of projected key issues, policy-level interventions, wherever required, continued government commitment to transparent, efficient and citizen-centric administration
He reiterated that such interactions are crucial for improving service delivery and bridging gaps between the public and the administration.
