DC Srinagar reviews Action Plan for saturation of Govt flagship schemes in rural areas

Srinagar, Nov 26: In order to finalize a comprehensive action plan aimed at achieving 100% saturation of various Government flagship schemes across the rural areas of the district, a meeting was of concerned Officers was held under the Chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Akshay Labroo here at Meeting Hall of the DC Office Wednesday.
The meeting was among others attended by Chief Planning Officer, Assistant Commissioner Development, Assistant Commissioner Panchayats, District Social Welfare Officers, all Block Development Officers, Executive Engineers of KPDCL and other Officers and Engineers.
On the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner emphasized the need for proactive outreach in rural and far-flung areas to achieve complete saturation of Government sponsored flagship schemes implemented by Agriculture and allied departments, Health, JAKEDA, Social Welfare, Employment and other financial inclusion schemes.
He instructed the Officers of the line departments to intensify field-level efforts to ensure that every eligible household is covered under Government sponsored beneficiary-oriented schemes.
The DC further directed the Officials to conduct door-to-door visits, hold meaningful awareness cum registration camps and work in close coordination with local stockholders to identify and on-board left-out beneficiaries. The DC further stressed timely service delivery, transparency, and regular monitoring to reach all Rural Households within the set timelines.
During the meeting, the DC set a time-bound roadmap for achieving 100% saturation of Government flagship schemes in rural belts, with the implementation process scheduled from December 01 to December 30, 2025, to ensure that all eligible left-out beneficiaries receive the intended benefits.
