Srinagar, Nov 28: Minister of Education Sakeena Itoo Friday said that the government will act tough against all those private schools that are violating the orders and norms issued by the concerned authorities.
Itoo while speaking to the reporters said, “The School Education Department has already notified the rules and norms to be followed by the private schools.”
“We have also issued directions to the JKBOSE authorities to implement the government orders,” she said.
The minister further said, “We were receiving a lot of complaints from the parents. The complaints were examined and in this regard we have already derecognised four private schools and a fine has been imposed on four other private schools for violating government orders and norms.”
“Wherever we will receive complaints against any private schools regarding violation of government orders and norms, we will examine the complaint and will ensure strict action like we have already taken against eight schools,” Itoo said.
The minister also said that there will be complete accountability and will not allow anybody to violate the government norms.
