Frankford University confers Honorary Doctorate on Jugmeet Kaur Bali

Srinagar, Dec 2: The world-renowned Frankford International University (FIU) — a non-traditional distance-learning institution based in the United States — has awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Public Relations to Dr. Jugmeet Kaur Bali, a prominent trade union leader from Jammu & Kashmir and a strong advocate for women’s empowerment.
The honorary degree has been formally ratified by the University’s Governing Board and bears the official signature of the FIU President. The ceremonial presentation of the award took place during a grand event in New Delhi, which was attended by distinguished dignitaries, civil society members, and representatives from diverse professional sectors.
Dr. Bali has earned tremendous recognition for her dedicated public service, especially her efforts to uplift women and Minority welfare and promote social welfare and community leadership. Her outstanding service across various public domains has earned her deep respect and admiration from people across the region and beyond.
Following the announcement, numerous social, professional, and civil organizations extended heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Jugmeet Kaur Bali, applauding her remarkable achievements and her unwavering commitment to positive social change. Many hailed the recognition as truly well-deserved, considering her continued efforts to raise the voice of the underprivileged and champion women’s rights.
