New Delhi, Dec 16: Dr. Syed Sajjad Hussain, Additional Joint Secretary and Patron of the IFS Kashmir Chapter, and one of India’s leading experts in infertility and Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART), received national recognition at the prestigious International Fertility Conference Fertivision-2025, held at Leela Ambience, New Delhi.
During the valedictory function, Dr. Syed Sajjad was awarded a Gold Medal for his pivotal role as Co-Convener of the National IFS Quiz Programme, which was conducted with exceptional academic excellence and witnessed nationwide participation.
He also delivered a high-impact lecture titled “Male Infertility in an ART Level-1 Setting” to a packed hall of national and international delegates. His presentation focused on evidence-based evaluation, cost-effective management strategies, and structured referral pathways aligned with India’s ART framework, earning widespread appreciation from fertility specialists, academicians, and policymakers.
The Indian Fertility Society (IFS) formally acknowledged his outstanding academic leadership, his contribution to strengthening fertility care in Jammu and Kashmir, and his continued representation of India at international reproductive medicine forums.
In addition, Dr. Syed Sajjad chaired a high-level scientific session featuring Prof. Nikolaos P. Polyzos, Scientific Director, Dexeus Fertility, Barcelona, Spain, further underscoring his stature as a respected academic leader on global platforms.
Dr. Syed Sajjad Hussain’s achievements at Fertivision-2025 highlight Kashmir’s growing prominence in advanced medical sciences and its active role in national and international academic leadership.
