Srinagar, Dec 22: J&K Police Monday organised Cyber Awareness programmes at Police Station Rajpora and Lassipora area as part of its continued efforts to educate the public about emerging cyber threats and safe digital practices.
The programmes focused on sensitizing participants about various forms of cyber crimes, online fraud prevention, and the importance of cyber hygiene.
During the sessions, the officer advised participants to adopt secure browsing habits, avoid sharing OTPs or bank details, remain vigilant during online transactions, and refrain from engaging with unknown persons on social media. Participants were also briefed about the latest trends in cyber threats and preventive measures.
J&K Police reiterated its commitment to promoting cyber safety and enhancing public awareness to effectively combat cyber crimes.
