DC Kupwara inspects construction of transit accommodations at Nutnussa, Kulangam

Kupwara, Dec 31: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Shrikant Suse Wednesday undertook an extensive visit and inspected the ongoing construction of Transit Accommodations at Nutnussa and Kulangam.
He was accompanied by Chief Engineer R&B North Kashmir, Sushil Kumar; Additional Deputy Commissioner Handwara, Javed Naseem Masoodi; Superintending Engineer R&B, Rais Makdoomi; Executive Engineer R&B Handwara; Farooq Ahmad Shah, Tehsildar, Zeeshan Khan and and other concerned officers.
During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner inspected the transit Accommodations at Nutnussa and Kulangam and assessed the pace and quality of work, and issued necessary directions to the concerned officers to ensure timely completion of the projects as per prescribed standards.
Later, the Deputy Commissioner in a follow up visit inspected the ongoing restoration work of the Drugmulla–Hatmulla Bridge. He reviewed the progress of restoration and emphasized the importance of expediting the work to ensure early restoration of connectivity for the public.
