Kulgam, Jan 7: Deputy Commissioner, Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan, Wednesday reviewed the progress of the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY) at a meeting held at the Mini Secretariat, Kulgam.
It was informed that the Department of Agriculture, Kulgam, has registered 6,590 non-loanee and 733 loanee oilseed growers under PMFBY for Rabi 2025–26 and the area insured under PMFBY in the district is approximately 1,018.27 hectares.
During the review, the Deputy Commissioner directed officers to ensure maximum enrolment of eligible farmers under PMFBY.

Chief Agriculture Officer Kulgam, Lead District Manager Kulgam, Sub-Divisional Agriculture Officers of Kulgam and Qaimoh, and the District Manager Agriculture Insurance Company and other officers.
