Srinagar, Feb 1: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) J&K organised Budget Prasaran Programmes across all districts and constituencies of the Kashmir Valley, marking a major outreach initiative to disseminate the key highlights of the Union Budget among the people.
The main programme was held at Tagore Hall, Srinagar, and was presided over by BJP State General Secretary Mohammad Anwar Khan. Simultaneously, Budget Prasaran session 2026 were organised at all district headquarters across Kashmir Valley and in all 47 Assembly constituencies, chaired by Senior leaders and Spokespersons.
Anwar Khan stated that organising the virtual budget announcement across all districts reflects the party’s commitment to transparency and public engagement. He added that the budget lays a strong foundation for economic growth and inclusive development in the region. Addressing the gathering, BJP leader highlighted the key features of the Union Budget and its focus on development, infrastructure growth, employment generation, and welfare schemes aimed at benefiting all sections of society, including the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
The programmes witnessed enthusiastic participation from a wide cross-section of society, including party karyakartas, senior leaders, members of the business fraternity, and social activists from various sectors.
During the interactive sessions, detailed presentations were made highlighting the key features of the budget, major developmental allocations, and welfare-oriented schemes aimed at strengthening economic growth and prosperity. Special emphasis was laid on initiatives benefiting small businesses, youth employment, infrastructure development, and social welfare.
Participants across the Valley expressed their appreciation for the well-planned economic roadmap outlined by the Central Government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. They acknowledged the budget’s focus on inclusive growth and its potential to accelerate development in Jammu and Kashmir.
BJP J&K comprehensive Budget Prasaran initiative reflects the party’s commitment to ensuring grassroots-level awareness of government policies and their direct impact on citizens’ lives.
The initiative received an overwhelmingly positive response, with participants lauding the interactive format that enabled them to raise queries and understand the budgetary provisions in detail.
