Jammu, Feb 4: The Jammu and Kashmir government Wednesday informed the Legislative Assembly that as many as 20 government offices in Budgam district are functioning from rented premises, and that there is no proposal under consideration for constructing a unified government office complex at the sub-district level.
The Public Works (R&B) Department, said that “as on date, 20 government offices of different departments in District Budgam are functioning from rented buildings.”
The government, however, said that “no such proposal for construction of a unified Government Office Complex at sub-district level is under consideration either with this Department or with the Revenue Department.” (KNO)
