Srinagar, Feb 5: BJP State General Secretary J&K Anwar Khan welcomed the Union Budget, stating that it has been crafted with a strong focus on the welfare and development of citizens of Jammu and Kashmir.
Addressing party workers and media persons, Khan said the budget reflects the Centre’s commitment to inclusive development and economic stability. He highlighted that provisions related to tax relief, employment generation, infrastructure development, and social welfare schemes would directly benefit middle-income families across the Union Territory.
“The budget is people-friendly and growth-oriented. It gives much-needed relief to the people and strengthens the economic foundation of Jammu and Kashmir,” Khan said. He added that increased investment in infrastructure, education, and healthcare would open new opportunities for youth and boost overall development in the region.
Anwar Khan further stated that the BJP-led government continues to prioritize the aspirations of common citizens and is working towards sustainable growth and prosperity in Jammu and Kashmir.
