Shopian, Feb 24: Bharatiya Janata Party General Secretary Anwar Khan Tuesday conducted an extensive training programme at Shopian under the banner of Bharatiya Janata Party’s Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Prashikshan Mahabhiyan.
The programme aimed at strengthening the organizational structure at the grassroots level and equipping party workers with ideological clarity, leadership skills, and effective public outreach strategies. Addressing party functionaries, Anwar Khan emphasized the vision and principles of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, particularly the philosophy of Antyodaya — uplifting the last person in the queue.
He urged workers to remain committed to the party’s core values, enhance booth-level coordination, and actively engage with the public to ensure the effective implementation of welfare schemes. The session witnessed enthusiastic participation from district and mandal-level leaders, reflecting strong organizational unity in Shopian.
