Kulgam, Mar 10: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Shahzad Alam, Tuesday chaired a meeting of officers to review the status of public grievances and assess the mechanism for their timely disposal in the district.
During the meeting, the DC took a detailed review of grievances received through various platforms and evaluated the progress made in their resolution by different departments.
Stressing the importance of responsive governance, the DC directed all officers to ensure prompt and effective redressal of grievances within the stipulated time frame.
He emphasized that public grievances must be handled with seriousness and accountability to ensure that genuine concerns of citizens are addressed without delay.
Shahzad Alam further instructed officers to maintain close monitoring of pending cases and ensure that necessary follow-up action is taken for their early resolution.
The meeting was attended by ADC, ACR, Tehsildars and other officers.
